About PartySession
PartySession is a free browser party game for 3–12 friends, with one phone per player. Share a room link or code and compete across eight rounds of votes, two-way choices, table duels and predictions. Read your friends, build a scoring streak and choose when to play your double-points wildcard. No download or account is required.
How to play
- Enter your name and create a room. Share the link or six-character code with your friends.
- Each friend joins on their own device. Once at least three players are in the lobby, the host starts.
- Answer each prompt on your phone. In a duel, the two contestants make their case while the rest vote.
- Check the results and your points after each round. The host advances through eight rounds, then can start a rematch.

How many people can play PartySession?
A room holds 3–12 players. Each person needs their own browser and an internet connection; one player creates the room and hosts the session.
Is PartySession free? Do I need an account?
It is free to play in your browser, with no download or account. Enter a display name to create or join a room.
Can we play remotely?
Yes. Share the same room link with your friends and keep an internet connection. For table discussions and defending yourself in duels, use a separate voice or video call; PartySession has no built-in voice chat.
How do you earn points?
Most likely gives +1 per vote you receive. Pick a side gives +1 to the majority (both sides on a tie). Duel winners get +2, or +1 each on a tie. In Spotlight, correct predictions earn +2 and the featured player earns +1.
What if someone stops answering?
The host can reveal once enough answers are in, or continue without waiting. Submitted answers may still be scored; an unanswered round or a Spotlight without the featured answer is skipped without points.
Can someone join after the game starts?
Players join in the lobby, not during an active game. After the final ranking, the host can choose Play again to return everyone to the lobby, reset scores and allow new players to join.
How do scoring streaks work?
Score in consecutive rounds: +1 bonus on the second, +2 from the third. Watching a duel or skipping a round preserves your streak.
How does the double-points wildcard work?
One wildcard per game. Activate before answering: double your base points this round, not the streak bonus. No points means it is spent. Skipped rounds refund it.
