How do I control my character?

What do power pellets do?
Power pellets make all ghosts vulnerable for a few seconds. While frightened, ghosts turn blue and you can eat them for bonus points that double with each ghost eaten!
How does scoring work?
Regular dots are worth 10 points, power pellets 50 points. Eating frightened ghosts gives 200, 400, 800, and 1600 points respectively in a single power-up!
How many lives do I get in Pac-Maze?
Three. Touching a ghost that is not frightened costs one life and respawns you in the maze. At 0 lives the run ends. Eating a frightened ghost sends it home for 3 seconds instead of costing a life.
How long do power pellets last, and do ghosts get faster?
Frightened mode lasts 8 seconds. Ghosts start slower than you and gain 10% speed each level; while frightened they move at half that speed. Clear every pellet to advance — leftover dots keep the level going.
Do ghosts get faster each level in Pac-Maze?
Yes. Both you and ghosts gain 10% speed per level (from base player speed 5 vs ghost speed 4). Frightened ghosts move at half their normal speed during the 8-second power pellet window.

How big is the Pac-Maze maze, and do the tunnels wrap?
The maze is 22 rows × 19 columns with 152 dots and 4 power pellets (156 to clear a level). Walking off the left or right tunnel wraps to the other side. Ghosts scatter for 7 seconds then chase for 20; after four scatter/chase cycles they stay in chase. Eating a ghost sends it home for 3 seconds at 2× speed. Solo arcade, no download.
How many levels does Pac-Maze have — is there a final level?
There is no final level. Clear all 156 pellets and a short level-clear pause plays before the next level starts on the same 22×19 maze with every dot back. Both your speed and the ghosts' speed rise 10% per level (base 5 vs 4), so the maze gets faster forever. The run ends only when you lose all 3 lives.
