Twenty-eight cards form three overlapping peaks. Only the bottom row starts face up. Play any open card that is one rank higher or lower than the waste card; suits do not matter and King and Ace connect. A card turns face up when both cards covering it are gone. When no card plays, flip the stock.

Each card is worth 10 points plus 5 for every step of the current streak, so long runs pay the most. Drawing from the stock resets the streak. Each cleared peak adds 150, and clearing the whole board adds 500 plus 20 for every card still in the stock.

Clearing all three peaks deals a new board and keeps your score. The run ends when the stock is empty and no open card is one rank from the waste card. Your final score is the total across every board you cleared.

Golf Solitaire also plays cards one rank up or down, but from seven open columns and without the King–Ace wrap. Pyramid Solitaire pairs cards that add up to 13. TriPeaks hides most cards face down in three peaks, so planning which card to uncover next is the skill.
