How does the scoring system work in Asteroids Blast?
Large asteroids are worth 20 points, medium ones 50 points, and small fragments 100 points each. UFOs are the big payoff — a large UFO scores 200 points, and the rare small UFO (appears on level 4+) is worth a massive 1,000 points. Chain waves for the highest possible total.
What happens when I clear all the asteroids?
Clearing the field advances you to the next level. Each new wave spawns more asteroids that move faster, and UFOs start appearing more often and shooting more accurately. You'll also get a brief shield-down window between waves so you can reposition your ship.

How many lives do I get in Asteroids Blast?
Three. Hitting an asteroid or UFO (or taking a UFO shot) costs one life and respawns you with 2.5 seconds of invincibility. At 0 lives the run ends. Use that shield window to thrust to a clear edge instead of firing into the debris.
Does the screen wrap around in Asteroids Blast?
Yes — your ship, bullets, and asteroids wrap on every edge, so flying off the right comes back on the left. UFOs do not wrap: they fly in from one side and leave the other. Use wrap to sneak behind a rock field, but watch for rocks looping back at you.
How exactly does difficulty scale each level?
Each wave spawns level + 3 asteroids (4 on level 1, 5 on level 2, …) and every rock moves 12% faster per level. Large rocks always split into 2 mediums, mediums into 2 smalls — so a single large hides 7 targets total. From level 4 there is a 40% chance the UFO is the small 1,000-point variant.
Do I earn extra lives, is my best score saved, can two play?
No extra lives at any score — 3 lives is the whole run, each respawn shielded for 2.5 seconds. No saved best; every run stands alone. Solo only. Free in the browser with keyboard or touch buttons, no download.
Is there hyperspace in Asteroids Blast, and how fast can I fire?
No hyperspace jump. Fire with Space or Down (mobile fire button). Shots have a 250 ms cooldown and last 1.1 s at 420 px/s, so about four bullets can be in flight. Large UFOs fire random shots every 1.8-3.2 s; from level 4 a small UFO (40% chance, 1000 pts) aims at your ship. Solo, 3 lives, no extra lives.
How many points is the UFO worth in Asteroids Blast?
The big slow UFO pays 200 points when shot down; the small one pays a huge 1,000 — but it aims at you and fires back fast, so hunting it is a real risk. Sniping small UFOs between asteroid waves is the fastest way to a top score, and each kill also frees up screen space.
