📖 How to Play
Tap an exposed screw head to pull it with one of your 3 magnets — each screw fills a magnet socket until its whole brace slides off its rail. A brace can only leave when its straight exit line is clear, so remove blockers in the right order. Undo (U) anytime; if the tray fills with nothing releasable you jam — undo a move or retry the stall. Keyboard: arrows choose an exposed screw, Enter unscrews, R retries the stall, M mutes, Escape exits or clears a jam. Free the robot to see the next stall.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is Robot Rescue and how do you play it?
Robot Rescue is a free browser logic puzzle: a friendly robot is pinned in a service bay by mechanical braces (collars, chest bars, latches and gates). Tap exposed screw heads to pull them with your 3-magnet extractor. Each screw fills one magnet socket until its whole brace leaves, and a brace can only slide off its rail when nothing blocks its exit line. Clear all ten stalls to free the robot — no download or account.
Why is the tray limited to 3 magnets?
The 3-magnet rack is the puzzle: an unscrewed bolt stays in a socket until its brace is fully released, so you can hold at most three bolts at once. If the tray fills while a brace is still blocked, the stall jams — undo a move (U) or retry. Releasing a brace frees its sockets again, so completing plates is how you create space.
Is Robot Rescue playable on mobile and with keyboard?
Yes. On phones the board keeps large tap targets — the layout is tuned on 390px-wide screens, where every screw stays 44px or larger — with a dedicated magnet tray and fullscreen support. On desktop use arrows to cycle exposed screws, Enter to unscrew, U to undo, R to retry the stall, M to mute and Escape to exit or clear a jam. Every stall has undo and retry.
