How do I play Gem Swap?
Tap any gem to select it, then tap an adjacent gem to swap them. If the swap creates a match of 3 or more gems in a row or column, they disappear and your score increases. New gems fall from the top to fill the gaps.
What are chain combos?
When gems fall after a match and create new matches automatically, that is a chain combo (cascade). Each cascade level multiplies your points. Chains of 3 or more earn massive bonus scores!
When does the game end?
The game ends when no valid swaps remain that would create a match. Try to plan your moves to keep the board active and build the highest score possible!
How does scoring work in Gem Swap?
Match 3 gems in a row or column for 30 points, 4 gems for 50, and 5 or more for 80. Each cascade multiplies that match's score (1×, 2×, 3×…), so chain reactions can push your score much higher.
Is Gem Swap timed, or can I take my time?
There is no timer and no move limit — the game only ends when no valid swaps remain. Take your time scanning the full 8×8 board before each move; spotting cascade starters is worth far more than playing fast.
What happens when there are no more moves in Gem Swap?
When no valid swap can create a match, the game ends with a "No More Moves!" overlay showing your final score. Tap or click to restart instantly with a freshly generated board — every new board is guaranteed to have at least one valid move.
How do I score more points in Gem Swap?
Set up moves that trigger cascades: when falling gems create new matches automatically, each cascade level multiplies the points of that match (2x, 3x and beyond — you will see the "Nx Cascade!" banner). Planning one level ahead beats three fast random swaps.
