How do combos work in Stack Master?
Landing a block perfectly aligned with the one below triggers a combo. Consecutive perfect drops increase your combo multiplier, giving you bonus points and special visual effects.
What happens when I misalign a block?
The overhang is cut off so the next block is only as wide as the overlap. Misses shrink the stack quickly and a complete miss ends the run. A perfect drop snaps to the current stack width — it does not grow the block back to the original size.
Is Stack Master free and does it work offline?
Stack Master is completely free to play in your browser. Once loaded, it works offline too — your high scores are saved locally on your device.
What counts as a perfect drop, and how is score calculated?
A drop is perfect when the block centers are within 5 pixels. Each perfect adds the current combo length to a combo bonus. Your score is (tower floors minus the base block) plus that bonus. Fire VFX kick in at a combo of 5.

How fast does the sliding block move?
Speed starts at 2.8 and adds 0.12 per placed floor, capped at 9. The first slab is 180 px wide and 28 px tall. Perfect means centers within 5 px; it snaps to the current stack width and does not restore cut-off overhang.

Does a near miss count as a perfect drop in Stack Master?
No. Perfect is centers within 5 px: the slab snaps to the stack, combo goes up, and that combo length is added to the bonus. Offset 5-15 px is a near-miss bounce only — combo resets and the overhang is still cut. Zero overlap ends the run. Score = (floors minus the base block) + combo bonus. Fire VFX start at combo 5.
